TC volleyball starts season with 3-1 win

The Tabor College volleyball team kicked off the 2017 season with a 3-1 win over future KCAC member Avila Wednesday.

Tabor secured a 25-17 victory in Set 1, but Avila evened the match by winning Set 2, 25-22.

The Bluejays earned a pair of two-point victories in Sets 3 and 4, 29-27 and 25-23, to win the match.

Amy Horner led the attack with 18 kills. Megan Voth had 21 assists. Ali Jost had 11 digs. Kim Hockley had three solo blocks.

Coming—Tabor will host Bethel tonight at 7 p.m. to begin the conference season.
