Marion 4-H gives monthly meeting report

Ryker Salsbury gave a project talk about his Smith & Wesson 22 Victory pistol when the Happy Hustlers 4-H Club held their monthly meeting on Sept. 7.

The meeting was held at the County Lake Hall at 7 p.m.

“What’s the best part of your 4-H year?” was the roll call question and was answered by 11 members. 4 leaders and 3 parents were present.

Tripp Peterson led the Flag Salute and the 4-H Pledge was led by Eli Groening.

A fundraiser for the club held on Sept. 5 and the club made $402.80.

Sara Groening, music leader led the song “Happy Birthday” to August birthdays. A game of Heads or Tails was led by Recreation leader, Noah Schmidt.

A hayrack ride is planned for our next meeting which will be held at the County Lake Hall on Oct. 5.
