Hillsboro High School senior Jonathan Hinerman has signed a letter of intent to run cross country and track and field at Tabor College next year. Last spring as a junior, Hinerman placed eighth in the 1,600 meters at the Class 2A state meet in Wichita; this fall he earned a state medal by placing 11th in the 2A state cross-country race. “We are excited that Jonathan chose to stay close to home to continue his running career,” said Dennis Boldt, HHS track coach. “He is an exceptional young man and has had success as a distance runner. Our coaching staff wishes him the best and knows he will be a great asset to Tabor College.” Seated with him are his parents, Jerry and Tamara Hinerman.
