Hess wins Seniors golf tourney

Bryan Hess of Marion was the top medalist at the 41st annual Hillsboro Seniors Golf Tournament Sept. 2 on the municipal course.

Hess shot a 74 for 18 holes to lead all participants, including his 50-59 age category. Craig Jones of Cawker City shot the second-best score overall with an 80, and won the 60-64 age bracket.
