Gary J. Alleven, 46,

died April 7 near Hillsboro.

The service is pending at Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm St., Marion.

n MARIAN LUCILLE CROFOOT, 86, retired co-owner of Western Associates, died April 5 at her home in Marion.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, at Eastmoor United Methodist Church, 105 Eastmoor Dr., Marion.

Burial will be at Marion Cemetery, Marion.

She was born March 8, 1928, to John and Ruth Hurst at Holton. On Feb. 15, 1948, she was married to John Crofoot, who predeceased her.

Survivors include sons Dave and wife Jackie and Jim and wife Joni; daughter Pam Bowers; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

lena maghe haynes, 90,

died March 31 at Salem Home in Hillsboro.

The service was April 3 at Cherokee City Cemetery in Cherokee with pastor Linda Eads officiating.

She was born Dec. 16, 1923, to Emile and Julia (Brissart) Maghe in Franklin. Her husband, James Haynes, predeceased her in 2000.

Survivors include sons James Haynes Jr. of Hillsboro and Dennis Haynes of Salina; daughters Linda Klewicki of Rapid City, S.D., Denise Lopez of Wichita and Connie Guhr of Hillsboro; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Kathleen K. Hurst, 73,

died April 5 at Salem Home in Hillsboro.

The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, at Eastmoor United Methodist Church, 105 Eastmoor Dr., Marion.

Burial will be at Holton Cemetery.

She was born June 29, 1940, to John and Ruth Voekel Hurst at Ness City.

Survivors include niece Pam Bowers and nephews Dave and Jim Crofoot, all of Marion.

Emma E. Oliver, 107,

of Canton, a retired teacher, died April 5 at Cedar Ridge in McPherson.

The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 11, at Canton United Methodist Church in Canton, 304 W. Allen St., Canton.

Burial will be at Gypsum Cemetery. No visitation is scheduled.

She was born Nov. 18, 1906, to William B. and Emma (Spellman) Milleson. In 1930, she was married to Sydney Oliver, who predeceased her in 1962.

Survivors include son James and wife Bernie Oliver of Canton; sister Beryl Sellers of Independence, Mo.; two grandsons and one great-granddaughter.

n irene regier soyez, 94, of Cedar Point, died April 4 at Golden Living Center in Cottonwood Falls.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 11, at the Cedar Point Community Church.

Visitation with family will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion.

Burial will be at Cedar Point Cemetery.

She was born May 19, 1919, to Abe T. and Katie Fast Regier at Buhler. Her husband, Emile F. Soyez Jr., predeceased her in 2008.

Survivors include sister Minnie Siebert of Hutchinson; brother Wilbert Regier of Buhler; children Gary and wife Ada Soyez of El Dorado, Jerry Lou and husband Steve Robinson of Garnett, Ralph and wife Susan Soyez of Emporia and Terry Soyez of Cedar Point; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and step-grandchildren and their families.

Orpha J. (Suderman) Wilkinson, 88,

of Mount Hope, died March 31 at Wichita.

A graveside service was at 11 a.m. Friday, April 4, at Wichita Park Cemetery in Wichita.

She was born Nov. 8, 1925, to Justina (Loewen) and Diet?rich Suderman at Hills?boro. She was married to Clyde W. Wilkinson, who predeceased her.

Survivors include sister-in-law Rosella Suderman of Hillsboro and nieces and nephews.
