Joan E. Jacobsen, 61, of Newton and employed , died July 11 at Schowalter Villa in Hesston.
Visitation is 10-10:45 a.m. Saturday, July 18, at the Miller-Ott Funeral Home, 107 S. Lancaster Ave., Hesston from 10 am. A graveside service at 11 a.m. follows at Hesston Cemetery.
She was born Sept. 29, 1953, to Edgar Willis ‘Ed’ and Helen Maxine (Taylor) Auernheimer at El Dorado. On Sept. 29, 1984, she was married to Glenn Alexander Jacobsen, who predeceased her Nov. 23, 1985.
Survivors include her father; two brothers Lynn and wife Maxine of Canton and Anthony ?Tony? and wife Audrey of Watts, Okla.; sister Carol Gibbens of Newton; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be made to Schowalter Villa in Hesston and Grace Fellowship Church in Wichita and sent in care of the funeral home.
