Mike Duerksen of the Hillsboro city crew begins cutting up a major tree limb that fell Wednesday afternoon onto the roof of the east shelterhouse in Memorial Park. Gusts that registered between 50 and 60 mph buffeted the area Wednesday and much of Thursday. Many yards were littered with leaves and small branches but few limbs as large as this one fell victim.
