The Tabor College women?s swim team competed in a double dual with the University of Kansas and the University of Illinois Saturday in Lawrence.
Kelly Smith, Angela Smith, Whitney Livesay and Sammie Norton placed seventh in the 200-yard medley relay (2:05.45), while Sarah Schulte, Kianna Hinerman, Phylicia Don and Tessa Downs placed eighth (2:19.37).
In the 200 freestyle, Kelly Smith was seventh (2:09.74), Liz Janssen eighth (2:30.78) and Hinerman ninth (2:42.27).
Schulte was seventh in both the 100 backstroke (1:10.90) and 200 backstroke (2:34.28).
Angela Smith was seventh in the 100 breaststroke (1:17.75) and 200 breaststroke (2:47.98).
Don placed seventh in the 200 butterfly (2:51.07), while Downs was eighth (2:56.23).
In the 50 freestyle, Norton was seventh (26.99) and Kelly Smith eighth (27.05).
Competing in the 100 freestyle, Norton was seventh (58.69), Janssen eighth (1:06.86) and Hinerman ninth (1:11.38).
Livesay was seventh in the 100 butterfly (1:06.80), Don eighth (1:16.52) and Downs ninth (1:17.59).
Livesay finished seventh in the 400 individual medley (5:12.75).
In the 200 freestyle relay, Angela Smith, Norton, Livesay and Kelly Smith placed seventh (1:50.21), while Schulte, Downs, Janssen and Don were eighth (2:00.69).
Coming?Both Tabor teams will compete at the Morningside Invitational in Sioux City, Iowa, Saturday. Action is scheduled to begin at noon.
