The Tabor College women?s soccer team opened KCAC play with a 4-0 victory at the University of Saint Mary Saturday.
Tabor?s first two goals came less than a minute apart courtesy of Nicole Stevenson and Anna Friesen.
The Bluejays added two more scores in the second half when Hannah Simmons scored in the 52nd minute, and Katie Traudt added a final goal in the 81st minute.
Tabor outshot the Spires 13-7, including 10-2 on-goal.
Central Methodist?Tabor battled to a 1-1 tie Tuesday. After a scoreless first half, both teams scored in the second half just more than 10 minutes apart. Ashtyn Stephens scored for Tabor off an assist by Jessica Renzelman in the 57th minute. Neither team scored again through two overtime periods.
Central Methodist outshot Tabor 24-9. Goalkeeper Kalee Cross had 12 saves.
Coming?Tabor (1-0, 7-2-1) will host Sterling (1-0, 6-4) tonight at 5 p.m. and travels to Southwestern (0-1, 4-5-1) Saturday for a 3 p.m. game.
