Tabor softball plays in Round Robin

The Tabor College softball team competed at the Friends Round Robin Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday began with a 10-1 loss to Baker. The game was within reach through five innings as Tabor trailed only by one, 2-1. But Baker scored eight runs in the bottom of the sixth to claim the win.

Tabor followed with an 8-6 loss to Mount Mercy before concluding the day with a 6-1 victory over Science and Arts of Oklahoma.

Sunday, Tabor defeated Langston, 8-6, before concluding the tournament with a 10-1 loss to Hastings in six innings.

Coming?Tabor (7-9) will host MidAmerica Nazarene today in a doubleheader beginning at 3 p.m. The Bluejays will compete in the McPherson Round Robin Friday. The first game is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Tabor will host Hastings Saturday at 1 p.m.
