Seven Tabor College athletes have been named to the 2015 All-KCAC preseason football team.
Three Bluejay seniors grace the preseason offense: quarterback Simon McKee; running back D?Marco Smith, a second-team selection a year ago; and offensive lineman Jess Croley.
Highlighting the preseason defense are returning first-team selections Derrick Lawrence, a senior defensive lineman; and Ben Gardner, a senior linebacker. Sophomore defensive lineman Dimitri Bowie, a second-team pick last year, also made the list.
Junior punter Trey Geiger, a returning second-team selection, received preseason accolades on special teams.
Tabor ranked 22nd in the 2015 NAIA Football Coaches? Preseason Top 25 poll and started the 2015 season with a 45-21 victory at Lyon Saturday.
