CGHS boys aim for improvement

Leading the effort will be a core of experienced players.

?We bring back a lot of experience from last year?s team,? Duncan said. ?We have great senior leadership, which should pay dividends this season.?

Four seniors will anchor the Eagles: Cody Savage (guard/forward), A.J. Med?ley (guard/forward), Austin Bullinger (guard/forward) and Trevor Unruh (center).

Juniors Connor Farnham (guard), Trey Moddelmog (guard), Nick Bray (guard) and Tanner Klingensmith (forward) and sophomore Travis Unruh (guard) are also expected to contribute.

Canton-Galva is a member of the Heart of America league.

?We play in the best small-school league in the state,? Duncan said. ?Every game we play will be against top-notch competition.?

The Eagles will open the season at home Friday, Dec. 6, against Elyria Christian.
