Tabor volleyball seeking trip to nationals

After making it into the second round of the NAIA National Tournament last season, the Tabor volleyball team is ready to hit the court with first-year coach Sara McAllister at the helm.

The Bluejays were also KCAC Tournament Champions, with three players on the first team, one player on second team, one player on honorable mention.

Senior Keeley Kroeker, honorable mention, and junior Kendra Kroeker, second team and KCAC 2018 pre-season team, will provide leadership for the Jays.

Seniors Jessanna Nebel, Tia Frazell and Katie Frankenbery, juniors Monea Ortiz and Samantha Smith and freshman Taylor Quiring will also make their presence known.

“We will be a force in the conference and continue the Tabor tradition of excellence,” McAllister said. “We look to return to the National tournament as well.”

While the squad will need to adjust to new coaches and new teammates, McAllister said they will be focused on continuing to grow in Christ and to make a return to the national tournament this season.
