Canton-Galva—The Eagles played at Wakefield Tuesday. Results were not available at press time.

Canton-Galva will resume play by hosting Little River Jan. 6.

Centre—The Cougars swept Peabody-Burns Tuesday.

The girls won, 35-15. Shelby Pankratz led all scorers with 13 points.

The boys won, 62-39, outscoring the Warriors, 33-19 in the second half. Cody Svoboda scored 12 of his game-high 14 points in the second half. Joining him in double figures were Cole Srajer 13, and Cole Methvin 12.

The Cougars will resume play by hoting Herington Jan. 6.

Goessel—The Bluebirds split two games with Rural Vista Tuesday.

The girls won, 36-35, despite trailing, 17-13, at halftime.

A 14-11 fourth-quarter comeback sealed the win. Brittany Hiebert led the team with 11 points. Eden Hiebert added 10.

The boys lost, 52-44. Jordan Griffin led all scorers with 13 points. Rhett Makovec added 12.

The Bluebirds will resume play Jan. 3 at Wake­field in games rescheduled from Dec. 16.

Peabody-Burns—The Warriors lost two games to Centre Tuesday.

The girls lost, 35-15, scoring five points in each of the first, second and fourth quarters. Anna Lubbers led the effort with seven points.

The boys lost, 62-39. Centre outscored the War­riors, 33-19 in the second half. Jayton Scott led the effort with 10 points.

The Warriors will resume play at Rural Vista Jan. 1.
