NAIA gives TC character five stars

Tabor College has been selected as a five-star NAIA Champions of Character award winner.

Each school earned points in five categories: character training, conduct in competition, academic focus, character recognition and character promotion.

Points were also given for student-athlete grade point averages and for not having any ejections during competition.

Tabor earned 61 points and is one of eight KCAC five-star award winners.

Tabor will be recognized for the honor at the 74th annual NAIA National Convention in April.

The NAIA Champions of Character program emphasizes five core values: integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship and servant leadership.
