Warriors sweep four league games

The Marion softball team rolled to four run-rule victories to open Heart of America league play last week, improving to 4-0 in the league, 4-2 overall.

?In the past, we?ve had a tendency to come out slow, and I think we?re getting over that,? coach Jennifer Felvus said. ?That?s a good thing that they come out fighting from the start.?

Bennington?Marion rolled to two run-rule victories on the road Friday.

Marion won Game 1, 15-0.

Shelby Felvus keyed a four-run second inning with a bases-loaded, three-RBI triple.
