Hillsboro’s three-man tennis team finished seventh among the eight schools competing in their second home tournament of the season.
The No. 1 doubles team of Dakota Klein and James Isaac scored all 15 of Hillsboro’s team points with a third-place finish.
The duo defeated Daniel Kemp and Levi Hingeley of Haven (8-3) in the first round, lost to Brendan Boles and Will Razza of Hesston (0-8) in the semifinals, then defeated David Loomis and Holden Girard of Pratt (8-3) to claim third place.
Hesston won the tournament with 63 points, followed by Wichita Trinity (61), Pratt (44), Sacred Heart (35), Wichita Collegiate (26), Neodesha (21), Hillsboro (15) and Haven (11).
