The Marion volleyball and football teams took to their respective court and field for scrimmages Friday.

Volleyball, led by first-year head coach Kris Burkholder, began with the junior varsity on the court. After a few sets, the varsity team saw action. The Warriors return just two athletes with starting varsity experience as a result of losing six seniors, and many who return will see new roles this year.

Later that evening, football, led by first year head coach Shaun Craft, strapped on the pads and took to the field. The Warriors return just one full-time starter on each side of the ball and will see a number of new faces as well.
