Peabody gets win over Herington

Peabody-Burns ran all over Herington, getting the win, 60-28. Peabody-Burns racked up 434 yards of offense on 60-plays averaging 7.2 yards per play.

Jess Philpott led the team with 241 yards rushing and five touchdowns on the day. Ro Weerts rushed 19 times for 100 yards and three touchdowns for the Warriors.

The game was competitive in the first half with a tie game 22-22 after Herington and Peabody traded touchdowns throughout the half.

Peabody got hot in the second half though and held Herington to just one score in the second half earning the blowout victory.

Peabody-Burns hits the road this week with a trip to Canton-Galva for a 7 p.m. Kickoff.
