Peabody-Burns football beats Chase County, 46-24

Chase County got on the board first, but Peabody responded with three straight touchdowns to give them the lead, and eventually the win, 46-24. Peabody forced four turnovers which was big in their win.

Peabody racked up 452 yards of offense led by a 21 carry, 183 yards and three touchdown effort by Jess Philpott.

Ro Weerts was 7-11-151 yards and one touchdown and two picks at quarterback. He also ran 11 times for 37 yards and two touchdowns as a runner.

Andrew Hauck caught two balls for 85 yards and a touchdown averaging a staggering 42.5 yards a catch.

Peabody will get back into action when they host Herington on September 21.
