The Marion girls and boys track teams competed at the Beloit Invitational Friday after competing at the Berean CKTL at Marion April 24.

?At Beloit, we got a taste of what a day at the State Track Meet would be like,? said coach Grant Thierolf.

?The meet was delayed by a timing system and then by the weather and we were very pleased by how our athletes kept their focus and performed well.?

Beloit?Marion earned several top-three finishes against a tough field at the Beloit Invitational Friday.

?It was good to compete in the rain, wind and delays,? said coach Grant Thierolf. ?It was a good meet to prepare us for things down the road.?
