The Marion volleyball team went 1-3 at the Heart of America League Tournament at Berean Academy on Saturday.
The Warriors opened the tournament with a 16-25, 21-25 loss to host Berean, then lost to Ell-Saline, 20-25, 21-25.
Marion won its lone match of the day against Moundridge, 25-22, 21-25, 20-25. The day ended with a 17-25, 19-25 loss to Sedgwick.
Coming?Marion (14-19) will compete at Council Grove sub-state Saturday.
Joining the Warriors and the host school are Burlington, Council Grove, Hillsboro, Hutch Trinity, Lyons, Southeast of Saline and Sterling.
