The Marion softball team lost its first Heart of America games last week at Moundridge to fall to 0-2, 2-4 on the season.
The Warriors dropped Game 1 to Moundridge, 5-4, Friday.
Marion scored the game?s first run in the first inning, but the Wildcats answered with two in the bottom half.
The Warriors built a 3-2 lead after four innings, but Moundridge tied it in the fifth.
Again Marion took the lead with one run in the sixth inning, but Moundridge managed two runs in the bottom of the seventh to take the win.
Marion had two hits; Moundridge had seven.
Shayla Kline led with two RBIs.
Over 62?3 innings, Megan Richmond struck out four batters.
Marion lost Game 2, 7-4.
Moundridge led, 6-0 after three innings before Marion scored all four runs in the top of the fourth inning. The Wildcats added a final run in the bottom of the inning.
Kayla Kroupa had two hits. Richmond had one RBI.
Hutch Trinity?Marion split two close games Tuesday.

Marion won Game 1, 9-8, in walk-off fashion.
Trailing 8-6 heading into the final inning, Marion held the Celtics scoreless in the top of the inning, then went to work on offense. Megan Davies struck out, then Shyla Harris and Sam Davies hit back-to-back singles.
Shelby Felvus followed with an RBI double that brought Marion within one, then Megan Richmond knocked out a two-run walk-off double to end the game.
Hutch Trinity took a 3-1 lead after two innings of play and added three runs in the third inning.
After Marion narrowed the gap to 6-3, Trinity managed its final two runs in the fourth inning. Marion added one in the fourth and two in the fifth to draw within 8-6.
Felvus led Marion with four hits in as many at-bats. Harris added three hits in four at-bats.
Richmond was winning pitcher. Over seven innings, she threw five strikeouts.
Marion lost Game 2, 18-14, in eight innings.
Heading into the bottom of the seventh, Marion trailed, 14-10, but managed four runs in the inning to tie the game. Megan Davies, Kroupa and Harris aided the effort with singles.
But things did not go the Warriors? way in the extra inning. Marion walked three of the first four Celtic batters. All four later scored. In Marion?s last batting opportunity, the Warriors suffered three straight outs.
To start the game, the Warriors jumped to a 4-0 lead after the first inning, thanks in part to singles from Felvus and Robson.
Trinity scored three runs in the top of the second and one in the fourth, but Marion added three runs to lead 7-4 at the end of four.
The Celtics tied it at 7 after five innings, and used a big sixth inning to build a 13-10 advantage. Marion outscored Trinity 4-1 in the seventh.
Felvus was 4-for-4 at-bat, including a double. Kroupa had four RBIs. Harris contributed three.
Felvus absorbed the pitching loss. Over eight innings, she threw six strikeouts.
