The Marion golf team participated in the Remington Invita?tional in Newton Thursday.
Area schools Centre and Peabody-Burns and league schools Remington and Sedg?wick also competed.
Marion?s Landon Leiker was the second place medalist with a score of 81, leading the Warriors to fifth place as a team with 364 points.
Centre took sixth at 365 points and Peabody-Burns was 10th with 409.
Also competing for Marion were Wiley Lundy, 19th with 91 points and Adam Molleker, 26th with 95.
Hogan Lovelady took 30th with 97, Tim Costello, 49th with 105, and Dane Purkeypile, 60th with 129.
For Centre, Adam Matz placed 10th with an 85 and Tyler Klenda was 12th with an 88. Trevor Hageberg took 24th with 94, Dylan Svitak 33rd with 98, Brian Burhoop 53rd with 108 and Kodey Johnson 56th with 112.
For Peabody-Burns, Jason Wingert took 42nd with 101 points and Sean Brunner took 43rd with 101.
Matt Hiebert placed 47th with 103 amd Tommy Morris 48th with 104.
Trevor Foth 54th with 109 and Joe Lopez 63rd with 180.
The Marion Warriors competed at the Council Grove Invitational April 18, placing fifth as a team. Lundy took 14th and Costello placed 15th ahead of Leiker, who took 16th.
Coming?Marion is scheduled to compete at Sacred Heart in Salina Friday. Centre plans to travel to Council Grove Thursday. Peabody-Burns will compete at the Sedgwick Invitational Thursday.
