Marion High School seniors Grif Case (left) and Taylor Heidebrecht represented the Warriors in the 2014 All-Star baseball game played Wednesday at Frank Myers Field on the campus of Kansas State University in Manhattan. All athletes selected to participate in the All-Star game were senior first-team all-state selections in their respective classes, ranging from Class 6A to Class 2-1A. Heidebrecht and Case were members of the Grey squad, which defeated the Maroon squad, 7-4. Heidebrecht started at first base, but moved to second in the ninth inning, while Case started in left field and also contributed in right field.
