The Marion High School wrestling team finished first in he Marion 3-2-1A Regional Friday and Saturday at the USD 408 Sports and Aquatic Center. Marion won with an overall team score of 143 points.
Dillon Wildin was named the outsatnding wrestler, winning the 145-pound weight class.
Marion coach Chad Adkins was awarded regional coach of the year.
Seven Warrior wrestlers qualified for state. Listed below are the wrestlers, weight divisions and finish at regionals.
? 119 lbs. Randy Regnier, third; 130 lbs. Brody Carroll, third; 135 lbs. Andy Shipman, third; 140 lbs. Cody Wildin, second; 145 lbs. Dillon Wildin, first; 152 lbs. Tylor Neil, second; 160 lbs. Colten Johnson, second.
The Class 3-2-1A state tournament will be Friday and Saturday at the Busch-Gross Coliseum on the campus of Fort Hays State University in Hays.
