Marion takes 4th at Hesston

The Marion High School wrestling team placed fourth at Saturday?s Hesston Invitational.

Dillon Wildin (140) took first place and five others placed in the top four in their respective weight classes: Cole Lewman (112) and Andy Shipman (125) placed fourth; Adam Regnier (135) and Tylor Neil (145) placed third; and Cody Wildin (130) placed second.

?We wrestled alright today,? coach Chad Adkins said. ?We lost some matches that we shouldn?t have, but we will get them back.

?The competition at this tournament was better than it has been in a long time,? he added. ?That is great for us and the other teams there. We will keep working hard and be right where we need to be in February.?

Coming?Marion is slated for one more dual before the winter break: 6 p.m. Thursday at Minneapolis.
