Marion puts three on all-league team

Three members of Marion’s 17-19 volleyball team have received recognition from Heart of America league coaches.

Junior Chloe Burkholder was named to the second team. As setter this season, Burkholder recorded a team-high 450 assists. Burkholder also led the team in service aces with 33.

Two Warriors received honorable mention recognition.

Senior Tori Shults led Marion’s offensive attack with a team-high 145 kills. She recorded 73 solo blocks.

Freshman Jayden May led the team with 487 digs and a team-high 628 receptions. She had 21 service aces.
