Members of the Tampa State Bank bowling team from SherBowl Lanes in Marion claimed third place at the Kansas State Senior Open Bowling Tournament at Leavenworth.
The tournament was in October, but the official results were received in late December.
Members of the team were Rodney Mueller, Kenny Rindt, Jim Wyatt and Williard Glasgow.
In addition to the open team competition, team members participated in individual events according to age divisions.
Willard Glasgow of Hills?boro won his division in both the singles and all-events categories. The latter is an individual?s total scratch and handicap scores bowled in singles and doubles combined.
Of the total of six games he bowled in those two categories, Glasgow?s score exceeded 200 in four games.
By winning the all-events title, Glasgow qualified to enter the national senior tournament set for July 2014 in Reno, Nev.
Also placing in individual events were Wyatt, of Marion, who won his age division, and Mueller, of Tampa, who placed second in his age division.
