Knolla leads Warriors at league

Seven Warriors recorded personal-best times at the Heart of America league meet hosted at the Marion Country Club Thursday.

?Wonderful weather and wonderful race times,? coach Rebecca Hofer said. ?We almost had the entire team get PR?s today. I left the course a very happy coach.?

Timothy Knolla led the Warrior attack, finishing sixth in a personal-record 17 minutes, 57 seconds.

Jared Hague placed 11th with a PR of 18:59, Quinton Hett was 27th in 21:12; Taylor Fahey finished 28th with a PR of 21:41; and Seth Savage was 29th in a PR of 21:50.

The Warrior girls were led by McKenzee Rem?mers, who placed 13th in a PR of 17:09. Kaylie Waner was 35th with a PR of 19:46. Shyla Harris placed 42nd in 20:14, and Brittany Hett set a PR of 21:07 for 48th place.

Coming?The Warriors will compete at regionals Saturday at Lake Afton near Goddard. The girls? race is scheduled for 2 p.m., with the boys to follow at 3 p.m.
