Knolla leads MHS at cross-country regionals

Timothy Knolla led Marion at the Class 3A regional cross-country meet hosted by Bishop Carroll at Lake Afton Park Saturday.

Knolla finished 18th among 75 runners in the boys? 5-k race with a time of 18 minutes, 33 seconds.

Jared Hague was 34th (19:31), Quinton Hett was 46th (21:10), Taylor Fahey was 59th (22:28) and Seth Savage was 60th (22:47).

As a team, the Marion boys finished ninth with 199 points. Hesston won with 46.

McKenzee Remmers led the Warriors in the girls? 4-k race. She finished 19th among 48 runners with a time of 18:12.

Kaylie Waner was 40th (20:23), Shyla Harris was 41st (20:45) and Britany Hett was 43rd (21:06).
