The Hillsboro club had 25 wrestlers entered; one was unable to complete due to illness.

“Overall, the tournament ran very smoothly,” said Scott O’Hare, HWC director. “I would consider it a huge success. The parents and coaches in the club, as well as many high school and middle school wrestlers, did an outstanding job helping run the tournament.”

O’Hare said some of the more experienced HWC wrestlers competed very well and a few of the new wrestlers showed promise.

“I believe it was a good learning experience for all of our young wrestlers,” he said. “I would like to thank everyone who chipped in to make this tournament a positive and successful event.”
