Jost named first team all-state

Daniel Jost, senior wide receiver for the Hillsboro High School football team, was named to the Class 3A first team at that position by the Kansas Coaches Association.

Jost caught 45 passes this season for 789 yards and 12 touchdowns to help lead the Trojans to a 6-5 record.

Other Mid-Central Activities Association athletes named to the Class 3A first team were Carl Hickel, Hoisington running back, and Luke Keener, Hoisington linebacker.
