HHS?JV boys win tournament title, improve to 16-1

The Hillsboro boys? junior varsity team won the eight-school JV tournament in Hillsboro with a 45-41 win over Halstead in the finals Saturday. The win improved the team?s record to 16-1 for the year. The local tournament spanned two weekends. On Feb. 5, Hillsboro defeated Marion, 50-29, and Hesston, 56-41, leaving the championship game for Feb. 12.
