Hague leads Warrior effort at Newton

The Warrior golf team competed at Newton Thursday.

?The team didn?t do as well as before, but I still believe they are improving,??coach Jim Pohlman said. ?We had wind, cold, rain, and the wind with sun. It was hard especially for beginning players. I am still very proud of them.?

Jared Hague led the effort with an 18-hole score of 106, good for 17th place.

Jade Corona carded a 118, Kaden Gibson 119, Jayton Scott 125, Ezra Darnall 134 and Ian Orrock 127.

Coming?The team will compete at Marion May 6.
