Goessel runs well at meet

Better competition and fall temperatures helped to improve times this week for Goessel at the Berean Academy Invitational. The boys finished fifth out of 10 teams and the girls were sixth out of seven schools.

All together 14 schools were represented at the meet. This meet is always exciting as the temperatures usually drop and the course is fairly flat and fast.

Adrian Kastner led the team with a first place finish and a personal record at 19:56.4. Other high placers were Elsie Clark who placed 13th and Elyse Boden who placed 24th.

Goessel’s next meet is at Harvey County West Lake on October 4 hosted by Burrton. Races begin at 4 p.m.
