Goessel

?Little River proved little trouble for the Bluebirds, who transformed a 6-6 halftime score into a 42-14 rout, in large part thanks to a 22-point third quarter. Goessel was powered by Cameron Stultz (two rushing touchdowns) and Hayden Goerzen (two receiving touchdowns) and also scored on a run by Tyler Schmidt and a catch by Johnathan Berkholz.

Stultz totaled 114 rushing yards including a 46-yard long and Goerzen totaled 105 receiving yards including a 72-yard long. Schmidt threw all three of the Bluebirds? passing touchdowns.

Goessel (5-1) travels to St. John?s Military (2-4) this weekend. St. John?s sustained a 28-26 loss against Tescott this week.

Centre

?The Cougars edged Waverly 28-24 Friday. Additional information was not received before the press deadline. Centre plays at White City this week.

Canton-Galva

?The Eagles won a forfeit over Stafford on Friday and play at Little River this week.

Peabody-Burns

?Bennington beat the Warriors 34-0. PBHS hosts Chase County Friday.
