Cougars clean up well at Eisenhower League fete

The Centre High School football team received all-league recognition at 11 different positions after completing an 8-2 season in the Eisenhower league.

Tanner Brunner (quarterback, linebacker), Rustyn Kerbs (running back, defensive back), Zach Antoszyk (offensive end, linebacker) and Trevor Troutt (punter, defensive line) all received first-team recognition at multiple positions.

Casey Kristek and Jacob Jirak were both recognized as first-team players on the offensive line.

Troutt was also recognized as a second-team running back and Kristek picked up second-team honors at defensive line.

The Eisenhower league feted a total of 29 different players at 41 positions.
