Corona leads MHS golf

Jade Corona paced the Marion-Peabody golf team at the Remington tournament Thursday, carding an 18-hole score of 101 to finish 14th overall.

Austin Molleker shot a 107, Jarrett Johnson 109, Zach Stephey 113 and Devin Soyez 133.

“Our goal as a team is to get to the point where we shoot four scores in the 90’s, so this tournament was a bit of a setback,” coach Topher Rome said. “However, we get a chance to play the same course this week, so hopefully we learn from the first tournament and show improvement.”

Coming—The Warriors were scheduled to compete at Sedgwick Thursday.
