Centre golf 4th, Marion 6th at N. Heights

The Marion golf team took sixth with 370 points at the 13-school Northern Heights Invitational April 12.

The Warriors finished just behind area school Centre, which took fourth with 352 points.

Centre?s Tyler Klenda took second overall with a score of 77. Teammate Adam Matz medaled at 10th place with 83. Brian Burhoop finished 32nd (96), Trevor Hageberg 35th (96), Kodey Johnson 36th (98) and Dylan Svitak 42nd (101).

Landon Leiker medaled for Marion by placing 14th out of 70 participants, with a score of 85. Adam Moelker placed 28th (94), Tim Costello 30th (95), and Wiley Lundy 34th (96). Hogan Lovelady placed 40th (100) and Braydon Putter 47th (104).

Coming?The Marion and Centre golf teams are scheduled to compete at the Remington Invitational Thursday.
