The Centre High School golf team placed third at the Saint Mary?s Golf Invitational at Rolling Meadows Golf Course April 28.
With a four-man score of 350, the Cougars trailed only Sabetha (330) and Jefferson West (332) out of the 15 teams competing. Jacob Jennings (84) placed eighth, Adam Matz (86) placed 14th and Tyler Klenda (87) placed 15th individually. Heath Hill (93), James Weber (105) and Trevor Hugeberg (106) also competed for Centre.
Results from the Cougars? April 30 visit to Council Grove were not submitted before the press deadline.
Centre played at the Marion Invitational Tuesday and is set to play at the Marion County Invitational that splits action between Marion and Hillsboro Friday.
