Canton-Galva shuts out Peabody

CANTON- It was a dominate effort for the Eagle football team on Friday who took out visiting Peabody, 48-0.

Canton-Galva outgained Peabody 300 yards to just 35 for the Warriors who couldn’t get anything going against a stout Eagle defense.

Canton got out to a 20-0 lead after the first quarter and just kept it going throughout the game.

Landon Everett led the Eagles with 158-yards rushing and three touchdowns for the Eagles. Tyson Struber rushed four times for 58 yards and two touchdowns.

For Canton, they will hit the road and play Goessel on Friday. Peabody will host Bennington next week. Both games kickoff at 7 p.m.
