Finishing 14-1 in its last 15 games, Canton-Galva baseball (14-6) ended its regular season Friday with sweep of Herington.
The Eagles won the first game, 13-3, and the nightcap, 18-0.
Getting contributions from the four Eagle seniors on Senior night, Canton-Galva was led by Bryant Baldwin. Baldwin was 4-for-4 with a homerun, two triples, five stolen bases and six runs scored.
Brett Williams reached base on four singles and drove in five runs.
Codey Johnson drove in four runs on two singles and was the winning pitcher in game 1. Johnson worked six innings, striking out 13 Railers.
John Shearer had an RBI on a triple.
Taylor Myers collected his fifth win of the season, allowing one hit in three innings in game 2. At the plate he added a single, a double, two triples and for RBIs.
Nick Vogts finished with two singles and two stolen bases.
Coming?The Eagles enter the 2A Moundridge Regional as the No. 2 seed. Other teams in the Moundridge regional are Cottonwood Falls-Chase County, Herington, Inman, Little River, Moundridge.
The Regional Tournament is scheduled for May 17-20.
