The Tabor men?s and women?s tennis teams swept Central Christian College at home Feb. 29, giving the men a 1-2 record and putting the women at 2-1.
?I thought both the guys and the girls played well,? said coach Chad Gayer. ?Central?s a dangerous team. They have some really talented players. I thought we came out and took care of business early, so I was happy to see that.?
The men earned a 7-2 victory over Central, while the women claimed a 9-0 shutout win.
?The guys were pretty focused,? Gayer said. ?We had a pretty good crowd. I was proud of the team, how they came out and were focused from the get-go.?
Coming ?The Bluejays were scheduled to play Emporia State University at home March 7.
