Centre extended its undefeated season Friday with a win at Waverly, 74-32.

Tanner Brunner and Rustyn Kerbs scored five touchdowns each. Brunner completed six of 10 passes for 116 yards and ran the ball 16 times for 161 yards.

Kerbs had 13 carries for 138 yards. Casey Kristek ran for 90 yards on 13 carries.

Brian Burhoop led the Cougar receivers with two catches for 56 yards.

Brunner accumulated 23 tackles and a fumble recovery. Kordell Harding added 17 tackles and one interception. Casey Kristek and Cole Svoboda contributed 10 tackles. Kerbs finished with five tackles, two interceptions and one fumble recovery.

Centre is 3-0 in eight-man, Division II, District 3 with two games left to play. The Cougars (7-0) travel to Altoona-Midway Friday.

Peabody-Burns?The Warriors improved to 2-1 in eight-man, Division I, District 8 play with their second straight win.

The Warriors? defeated Solomon, 56-20, in a matchup between two schools playing their first seasons in eight-man football.

PBHS?(4-3) will play at Little River Friday.

Goessel?The Bluebirds picked up their second win of the season with a 96-70 shootout against St. John?s Military in Salina.

The Bluebirds are 1-2 in eight-man, Division II, District 8 play with the win. Goessel (2-5) hosts Canton-Galva (1-6) Friday.

Canton-Galva?The Eagles lost their sixth straight game with a 66-20 setback to Little River at Canton. The Eagles have yet win an eight-man, Division II, District 8 game in three tries.

Canton-Galva (1-6) travels to Goessel Friday.
