Canton-Galva?A 17-5 first quarter outburst by Bennington put the Eagles behind the 8-ball early in a 65-45 loss in the third place game at the Canton-Galva Invitational. The Eagles tagged Rock Creek 80-65 in the first round game.
Ted Regehr scored 24 points to lead the 6-man rotation: Andrew Westbrook scored 15, Destin Nightengale had 13, Bryant Baldwin and Riley Nigh each had 10, and Codey Johnson scored eight. Sedgwick topped Canton-Galva 77-40 on Thursday to deny the Eagles a trip to the championship game.
