Canton-Galva?The Eagles lost two games at Moundridge Tuesday.

The girls lost, 46-33. Cassidy Enns led the effort with 16 points. The boys lost, 57-36.

Canton-Galva hosted Berean Academy Friday. The girls lost, 62-21. Enns led the Eagles with 12 points. The boys lost, 56-30.

The Eagle boys are hosting a tournament this week. The boys were scheduled to face Derby Invasion Tuesday. They will play Ell-Saline Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

The girls will participate in the Sedgwick tournament next week.

Centre?The Cougars split a pair of games at Goessel Tuesday. The girls lost, 58-24. Shelby Pankratz led the team with seven points. The boys won, 38-37. Cole Srajer and Dylan Deines shared top scoring honors with 10 points each.

Centre played at Rural Vista Friday. The girls lost a close game, 43-41. The boys lost, 59-40.

Centre will host the Cougar Classic this week. The fifth-seeded girls opened the tournament Tuesday against No. 4 Rural Vista, while the sixth-seeded boys faced No. 3 Solomon.

Additional teams in the field include Elyria Christian, Marion, Wakefield, Peabody-Burns and Sacred Heart.

Goessel?The Bluebirds split a pair of games with Centre Tuesday. The girls won, 58-24. Aleena Cook led all scorers with 21 points. Eden Hiebert added 10. The boys lost, 38-37. Zach Wiens led all scorers with 15 points. Rhett Makovec added 11.

The Bluebirds split two games with Wakefield Friday. The girls won, 62-33. Page Hiebert led the effort with 17 points. Eden Hiebert added 12, and Jennifer Meysing and Brittney Hiebert each scored 11. The boys lost, 46-40. Zach Wiens led the effort with 13 points. Rhett Makovec added 10.

The Goessel boys are participating in the Burrton Invitational this week. They were scheduled to face Little River Tuesday. With a win, Goessel would face either Central Christian or Inman Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

Additional teams in the field include Berean Academy, Burrton, Pretty Prairie and Fairfield. The girls will host Moundridge Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Peabody-Burns?The Warriors hosted Rural Vista Tuesday. The girls won their first league game, 43-40. The boys lost, 69-37.

Peabody-Burns lost a pair of games to Elyria Christian Friday. The girls lost, 50-29. The boys lost, 61-40.

The Warriors will participate at Centre?s Cougar Classic this week. The sixth-seeded girls were scheduled to face No. 3 Wakefield Tuesday, while the eighth-seeded boys were to play No. 1 Sacred Heart.

Additional teams in the field include Elyria Christian, Marion, Rural Vista, Centre and Solomon.
