The girls lost, 53-42. Shelby Pankratz led the effort with 14 points. Kate Basore added 12.

The boys won, 70-59. Cole Srajer led the Cougars in scoring with 19 points. Dylan Deines and Cole Methvin each added 15.

The Cougars played at Little River Friday.

The girls defeated the Redskins in overtime, 44-42. Shelby Pankratz led all scorers with 14 points. Emily Schlesener added 12.

The Cougars were scheduled to host Rural Vista Tuesday and will host Wakefield Friday.

Goessel?The Bluebirds hosted Little River Tuesday.

The girls won, 69-41. Aleena Cook led all scorers with 20 points. Page Hiebert added 15, Alicen Meysing 14 and Eden Hiebert 11.

The boys lost, 39-34. Zach Wiens led all scorers with 19 points.

The Bluebirds played at Elyria Christian Friday.

The girls won, 59-32.

The boys won, 62-47. Zach Wiens led the effort with a double-double performance. He scored 30 points on 12-of-17 shooting from the field (71 percent), and grabbed 15 rebounds. Drew Lindeman scored 14 points. Jordan Griffin had 10 rebounds.

Goessel was scheduled to play at Peabody-Burns Tuesday and will travel to Solomon Friday.

The girls lost, 47-19. The boys lost, 49-13.
