Canton-Galva?The Eagles split their games last week, first dropping a 30-27 contest at Marion Tuesday, then recording a 41-40 victory over Inman Friday at home.

Erika Smith led the Eagle attack with 17 points against Inman.

The Eagles (1-4, 2-13) were scheduled to host Moundridge (6-0, 12-3) Tuesday before welcoming Sedgwick (3-2, 6-9) to town Friday for a 6 p.m. tipoff.

Centre?The Cougars recorded a 59-40 victory Tuesday at Solomon. Shelby Makovec scored a game-high 24 points to aid the Cougar attack, while Beka Basore added 15.

Centre dropped a tight 50-48 overtime contest at Goessel Friday. Makovec led the Cougars with 14 points, followed by Makenzie Deines with 12.

The Cougars (3-3, 12-5) were scheduled to play at Elyria Christian (3-3, 9-7) Tuesday before hosting Wakefield (0-6, 0-15) at 6 p.m. Friday.

Goessel??The Bluebirds split their games last week.

Goessel first suffered a 56-27 loss at Little River Tuesday. Alex Hiebert led the Bluebird attack with 10 points.

The Bluebirds then edged Centre 50-48 in overtime Friday. Jessica Harvey led Goessel with 13 points, followed by Alex Hiebert with 10. Page Hiebert grabbed 15 rebounds.

Goessel (4-2, 7-8) was scheduled to play at White City (4-3, 8-7) Tuesday before traveling to Peabody-Burns (2-3, 7-8) Friday for a 6 p.m. tipoff.

Peabody-Burns??The Warriors dropped both games last week, falling 40-30 at Elyria Christian Tuesday before dropping Friday?s contest at Solomon, 31-24.

The Warriors (2-3, 7-8) were scheduled to host Remington (4-1, 9-5) Tuesday before welcoming Goessel (4-2, 7-8) to town Friday for a 6 p.m. start.

BOYS

Canton-Galva?The Eagles dropped Tuesday?s contest at Marion 50-26.

Canton-Galva then faced Inman Friday (not Sedgwick, as reported last week) and fell 62-33.

Cody Savage and Austin Bullinger led the Eagle attack with eight points each.

The Eagles (0-6, 2-13) will host Sedgwick (1-4, 6-7) Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Centre???The Cougars dropped a 66-29 contest against Solomon Tuesday before losing 46-41 at Goessel Friday.

Centre was scheduled to play at Elyria Christian Tuesday before hosting Wakefield (1-6, 3-12) Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Goessel??The Bluebirds split their games last week, first dropping a 51-33 contest at Little River Tuesday. Davis Cook led the Bluebirds with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Nicolas Buller added 10 points.

The Bluebirds hosted Centre Friday, recording a 46-41 victory. Cook again led Goessel with 17 points, followed by Buller with 16 points and 12 rebounds.

The Bluebirds (4-2, 8-7) were scheduled to play at White City (6-1, 14-2) Tuesday before traveling to Peabody-Burns (3-2, 8-7) Friday.

Peabody-Burns??The War?riors defeated Elyria Chris?tian on the road Tuesday, 56-28.

The Warriors dropped their next contest Friday at Solomon, 63-59.
