Canton-Galva?The girls placed sixth at the Sedgwick tournament last week. The Eagles lost to Wichita Independent, 35-34, Tuesday, then defeated Belle Plaine, 44-36, Thursday in the consolation semifinals. The Eagles lost to Sedgwick, 47-24, Saturday to end the tournament.

The Eagles were scheduled to play at Berean Academy Tuesday and will host Remington Friday.

Centre?The Cougars swept Flint Hills Christian Tuesday. Cacey Simons led with 14 points in the girls? 58-8 victory. Bryanna Svoboda scored 12. Ty Simons led the boys with 17 points in their 58-41 win. Conner Montgomery added 11 and Kyle Methvin 10.

Centre split against Wakefield Friday. The girls won, 47-13. Simons led with 15 points. Shelby Makovec scored 11. The boys dropped a 69-59 contest.

The Cougars were scheduled to host Solomon Tuesday and Goessel Friday.

Goessel?The girls finished fourth at the Berean Academy tournament last week. The Bluebirds defeated Sunrise Christian, 40-38, Tuesday. Page Hiebert led with 17 points. Aleena Cook added 11.

Goessel lost to Douglass Thursday in the semifinals, 51-22. Alicen Meysing led with eight points.

The Bluebirds lost 52-32 to Wichita Trinity Saturday to conclude the tournament. Hiebert scored 19 points.

The Bluebird boys lost to Moundridge, 53-30, Friday. Zach Showalter led with eight points.

Goessel was slated to host Little River Tuesday and will play at Centre Friday.

Peabody-Burns?The Warriors will host Solomon Friday.
